Street art

You don’t have to go to a gallery to appreciate art. Street art is an urban art movement far from its old reputation as “graffiti”, stop, look and take it in. Noosa is home to some stunning pieces of street art. Artists favour walls and concrete as their canvas to express themselves in a big way. There are other small galleries across the region; pay attention to hours of operation, as many will be closed on Sundays or Mondays. Art is the lifeblood of Noosa, in its roots and at the very heart of the culture. Peruse many of the art galleries in the area for an experience that may get your creative juices going.
