Noosaville is just a short distance away where Noosa River is the main highlight. Fishing boats and houseboats are situated in the tranquil waters and cruises depart for the Everglades . Travel further up the river on either a houseboat or hire boat through Lake Cooroibah and Lake Cootharaba to Teewah landing, which is only a ten minute walk from the North Shore beaches. Along the river's edge is Pelican Beach and is the perfect family spot.

Lake Cootharaba is only a twenty minute drive north of Tewantin and offers the historic Appollonian Pub, the timeless lakeside town of Boreen Point and beautiful waterside restaurants with excellent food and service to match!
