The Sunshine Coast is now well and truly on the map for digital nomads, with an increase in co-working spaces and tourism, thanks to traveller’s ongoing fascination for the many natural wonders surrounding the region.

Home to sun-bleached sand and turquoise water, its rugged backdrop is the perfect place to find inspiration. So to funnel your motivation and find a balance between work and play, we’ve compiled a digital nomad’s guide to Noosa. Here are some of the best co-working spaces and coffee shops to set up in, during your stay in this holiday hotspot.

Junction 2 – Noosa Junction

Thanks to its ideal location, Junction 2 will help take your productivity to the next level, with high-speed broadband, meeting rooms, a kitchen and printing facilities. The team here know all too well that when there’s some swell, work can wait, so Junction 2 provides 24-hour access, as well as hot-desking and long-term desks. Surrounding the space are some of Noosa’s favourite coffee houses too.

Reed and Co – Noosa Heads

This one’s a little more office inspired, sharing its space with a real estate firm. Reed and Co is perfect for those looking for permanent desk space. With Wi-Fi and 24-hour access, Reed and Co is great for digital nomads looking to drop the nomadic part for a little while and commit.

10 Hastings Boutique Motel and Cafe – Noosa Main Beach

If you like the bustle of a coffee shop, then 10 Hastings will bring you your caffeine fix all within a short walk to the beach. This retro motel has a chilled out cafe with light lunch options and local produce on offer. Begin your morning with a bit of work and later spend the afternoon by the ocean, basking in the sun.

Cafe Le Monde

This one’s a local favourite and reflects Noosa’s relaxed atmosphere throughout its space. Cafe Le Monde’s opening hours are perfect for late risers, open all day from morning to evening. Set on Hastings Street, its location makes it convenient to come and go as you please, whether it’s at breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Start-Up Precinct

Another day, another co-working space. Start-Up Precinct is located in what’s considered the CBD of Noosa. The space focuses on next-gen start-ups, who are all about innovation and high growth business. There is also a podcast space available, which will make it easy to get your recordings in. Start-Up Precinct also has a “working holiday” option, where you pay for accommodation and get your space free.

The Powerhouse Collective

The Powerhouse Collective is dedicated to women in business. Here, building a community is the focus, and if you’re looking to be motivated and collaborate with others, then this space is for you. Set in Noosaville, just off the water’s edge, both hot desks and long-term desks are available.
