Cooran sits amid lush nature, with walking trails bordering the town. It connects conveniently on to the Bruce Highway, with Pomona and Cooroy neighbouring.

This pretty town is perfect for those looking for a retreat to the hinterland. Nearby are the Cooran Tablelands and Mothar Mountain State Forest, home to swimming holes and scenic walking tracks; however, often access by a four-wheel drive is required. The Noosa Trail Network also connects through Cooran, which is a series of trails to explore either by walking, mountain biking or on horseback.

Cooran village provides a mix of cafes, boutiques and a brewery to experience. Take a wander through the streets and get a glimpse of everyday life, as each year the Tall Trees Art Exhibition celebrates and showcases local art.

Cooran is a beautiful, quiet little town perfect to base yourself in, to explore the neighbouring natural park and local art scene.
