An Immersive Arts Experience
A celebration of art and culture; the NOOSA Alive! Festival is a ten-day non-for-profit event, held annually in July. The program of events showcases a selection of theatre, dance, film, music, visual arts and literature. It is an incredible way to immerse yourself in the performing arts culture, with professional artists travelling to be a part of the event.
Culinary Delights and Engaging Workshops
Along with entertainment, the festival brings some incredible food and workshops to enjoy. It is hosted by volunteers who love the arts, bringing the local community together. NOOSA Alive! has welcomed many talented artists through its festival gates, from authors like Tim Winton and Peter Carey, actors like John Bell and Bryan Brown, musicians like Kate Miller-Heidke and Piers Lane, and many other comedians, commentators and journalists.
A Full Day of Artistic Pursuits
Noosa’s beautiful natural landscape, surrounded by national parks and beaches, makes it the perfect stage to host the festival. Heritage walks are organized to share some of the area’s most historic and noteworthy locations. From 9 am to 8.30 pm each day, the festival schedule is jam-packed, with individual performances by the Queensland Ballet and Noosa Orchestra to see too.
