Boreen Point

Boreen Point sits off the shore of Lake Cootharaba, which feeds into the Noosa River, the Noosa Everglades and the Great Sandy National Park. Boreen Points sits north of Noosa with Cootharaba as is its neighbouring town. This quiet village brings boat and water enthusiasts to its shore to relax lakeside in the many cottages and caravan parks available. The campground on the lakeside is also an enjoyable way to retreat to nature.

Set 20 kilometres from Tewantin, and about a half an hour drive from Noosa Heads, many travellers opt to visit for the day to enjoy the lake. Stop by the pub for lunch, or watch the artists in their studios, hard at work.
