Tewantin

Tewantin is a quiet suburb set on the Noosa River. Home to Tewantin National Park, it rewards visitors with stunning lookouts and mountain bike trails. Tewantin Village welcomes visitors to explore the Noosa Regional Gallery, showcasing local, national and international exhibits. On a warm and sunny day, pack a picnic and enjoy the view from Memorial Park. Or visit what once was the port for Noosa, which is now home to Noosa Marina; filled with alfresco dining options and cafes with a view. You can also find speciality shops and a gallery within the precinct too.

The suburb is well connected by ferry to the surrounding areas. However, what’s unique about Tewantin is that the ferry also travels directly to Makepeace Island. This 25-acre luxury island is home to Sir Richard Branson and allows you to spend the night there, but take note that it will set you back some cash.
